Submit News

At the Rochester Business Journal, we work hard to report the news first. Our stories reflect what we learn from individuals in the business community. So it should be no surprise that we value tips and ideas from our readers and prize phone calls that lead to a good story.

News coverage at our paper is divided into beats. If you have a news tip or story idea, contact the reporter who covers the industry or topic by e-mail or by calling 585-546-8303.

We also are eager to receive information on promotions and new hires, business events, awards and achievements and other items of interest to our readers. Press releases should be concise and include the name, phone number and e-mail address of someone who is familiar with the information. If the item is tied to a particular date, send the information well in advance.

People and Calendar listings should be submitted three weeks before the desired publication date.
