The long drawn out saga involving New Zealand's participation in the A-League has been delayed for yet another day.

New Zealand Soccer has confirmed they have submitted their final proposal to secure the license for Wellington.

The Football Federation Australia will make a final decision on Thursday.

The Townsville based 'Tropical Football' have entered the race for the license.

Meanwhile the New Zealand Football Championship play-offs have been postponed indefinitely.

The decision is a result of Auckland City's challenge over the points deducted from them by New Zealand Soccer last October due to a player eligibility issue.
