Community Police Advisory Boards

The Community Police Advisory Boards (CPAB) are groups of residents and business representatives who are selected by each District Station Captain to assist in problem-solving around crime and safety issues, and to act as a "think tank" for community policing activities. All members represent larger communities and groups, and have a diverse make-up. SAFE has been delighted to assist in the facilitation, growth and success of the CPABs. Just like our Neighborhood Watch groups, the CPABs are a way for individuals to come together, problem-solve, and make our City safer. We applaud all of the volunteers that make this happen. Find out what the CPAB is doing in your District: CPAB Summaries.

Are you a Block Captain in Pacific Heights?

We are a group of neighbors affiliated with the Pacific Heights Residents Association. We are interested in coordinating with local block captains to share information on a neighborhood level and work together to ensure our neighborhood is safe in the event of an emergency or a disaster. We have established a partnership with SAFE and NERT, and work with faith based organizations, public and private schools and other community groups to better serve our neighborhood. If you would like to be a part of this group or would like to learn more about what we are doing, please contact Barbara Graham at 415-425-3104 or sfblockcaptains@gmail.com.
