To this end we come together
The comics' first union of its creators,
To usher in a more hopeful world
For the children,

By utilizing
The comic book stories we create
And the public voice we have
In comics fandom.

With the promise

When elected, of forging
A lasting and comprehensive peace
Between Israel, the Palestinian people
And the Arab world by the year 2012.

And a strategy
For bringing economic relief
To the disenfranchised populaces
Of America and the world.

With a hopeful stride
And a course chartered,
To bring an age of peace to the world
And a time of abundance for all.
