Facebook Delete Checker

The Facebook delete checker is an application for Facebook that initially gathers your list of contacts. You can then revisit the application and compare your current list of contacts to the previous list to determine which contacts have deleted you (or you deleted them). The application can be used by visiting http://apps.facebook.com/deletecheck/.

Azureus/Vuze SB-Innovation Hack

Vuze is a popular, full featured and extensible BitTorrent client written in Java. Shu Mod is a hacked version of Azureus that enables leecher-like features, such as, no upload, ratio faking and client spoofing. Unfortunately, to enable the more advanced features of the Shu Mod client, you must donate a large amount of money to receive “VIP” access.

The Shu + DDJ Hack has been renamed to Vuze Extreme SB-Innovation Mod and now has a new home at the SB-Innovation Forums. Please sign up and download the mod at the new home as future updates will be found there. Once you have signed up you will find the mod in Filesharing > Mods & Tools > Azureus. If you have trouble reading the site, try Google Translate! (It’s in German)

The mod now has a Perfect Spoof that allows spoofing Azureus as any other BitTorrent tracker. The core is also automatically updated with a custom script that checks out the latest CVS version and patches it with the hack.

BigPond .NET Library

The BigPond .NET Library is a Class Library created in C# .NET 2.0 under Visual Studio 2008. It allows developers to “snap-in” the library to their project and easily access the BigPond usage meter to display and manipulate values. The library handles the SiteMinder login system with WebRequests to allow fast downloads of usage details and the removal of the IE navigation “Click” sound. It allows full access to all usage details provided on the BigPond usage meter.

Curently, this library powers a Vista sidebar gadget (also made by me), Usage Agent (a multiplatform usage meter) and Macpomme’s Mac Widget. You can view the project details, link to the Vista gadget and online XML feed at http://digitaldj.net/bigpondusage/.

iPhone Cydia Repository

My very own Cydia repository which contains:
OpenVPN for iPhone plus an SBSettings toggle
eTask Plugin for LockInfo
GrantSwitcher (my fork of rpetrich’s SwitcherMod)
Frash (a compiled version of comex’s Frash)

Add http://digitaldj.net/iphone/ to Cydia.

Chameleon OSx86 Bootloader

The Chameleon OSx86 bootloader allows the booting of Leopard and Snow Leopard on any x86-based PCs. I have submitted several patches to the project that have been accepted and implemented. Most patches that have been submitted are to do with the detection of multiple video cards and the detection of the CPU. Check out the project at http://chameleon.osx86.hu/.

Facebook Places for Desktop

Adds a Facebook Places UI to the Desktop version of Facebook. Allows you to see where your friends are with Google Maps as well as look up places and create them. You can also look up local deals in the area.

Facebook Add Spam

A little script that sends out friend requests to someone’s friends list.

Extra Padding for Firefox 4.0

Gives you a little bit (1px) of extra padding / space above your Firefox tabs, when maximized, so you can easily double click or drag a window back to it’s restored state without accidentally messing up your tabs. Download: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/extra-padding-when-maximize/

Winamp gen_msn_ddj

gen_msn_ddj is a general purpose plugin, coded in C++, for Winamp that sends the current playing information to Windows Live Messenger. It allows formatting the sent data with several different types of metadata, disabling when playing a video or keeping the “Now Played” status while the music is Paused. What makes this plugin unique is that it properly formats the sent data so that WLM can lookup the Artist/Song when the link is clicked (in the contact list), and that it provides a filter, so that tracks with keywords in the Artist/Title or Filename/Path are not sent to WLM to be displayed.

AutoRDP

AutoRDP is an application coded in C# that saves information of Windows Remote Desktop Connections so that credentials do not need to be typed out each time you wish to connect.
RDP 6.0 no longer saves passwords in the RDP connection file but instead adds it to the user’s KeyChain. This makes it impossible to have multiple usernames and passwords for one machine without a 3rd Party Application. AutoRDP solves this problem by editing the KeyChain before connecting.

Zune 2 / 3 for XP x64

Although now obsolete, I was the first to provide instructions for installing Zune 2.0 and 3.0 on Windows XP x64. http://digitaldj.net/zune3onxpx64/

EXE Binder

An EXE-Binder combines two executable files so that one is run after the other. It is commonly used in trojans to install software while the user is unaware. The first executable is a silent install while the second one is an installation for a legitimate application.

This works by disguising the binder as the target legitimate installation then putting both applications into the project as a byte array. The byte array is then printed out to a file in a temporary folder then executed one after another. Once the process has finished the files are deleted and the temporary folder removed.

At the moment, the executables that need to be binded needs to be opened with a HEX Editor and then the contents copied out and statically put into the code. In the future I will create a GUI that will allow the user to select two executables and compile, rather than grabbing the contents of each and putting them into the code.

Firewall Bot

The Remote Desktop Firewall Bot is developed in C# .NET 2005, as a Windows Service, and is powered by the DotMSN messaging library. It is designed to restrict access for Remote Desktop Connections within Windows by filtering IP Addresses (powered by Windows Firewall) to prevent bruteforce attacks on the remote login and make it seem as if the RDP port is stealthed.

The bot connects to the MSN Messenger service and awaits commands from the user. The user is able to request the computer’s current WAN IP Address and is able to view and modify the IP address that is allowed to connect to that computer for remote desktop connections.

The bot is configurable to respond only to specific e-mail addresses with a correct password. To provide security between the client and the MSN Messenger service, each message sent is encrypted (and then decrypted on the server end) using a specific passphrase. A Messenger Plus! add-on compliments this bot to encrypt messages before they are sent.

Currently, this bot only supports editing firewall rules for Remote Desktop however, it is simple to add support for other ports. This bot was created to keep computers that wish to use Remote Desktop Connections completely stealthed over a public network. It was also designed so that a client with a dynamic IP address is able to connect to the PC at all times.

Spy Bot

The X1 Spy Bot is developed in C# .NET 2005 and is powered by the DotMSN messaging library.

This bot is designed to perform many trojan like activities via commands over the MSN Messenger service. This bot was first designed as a Windows Service, however, due to limitations of Desktop Interactions on a user account and the inability to stealth the process, it was created as an application. The bot is based up on some code from the Firewall Bot above. Each time this bot starts it places an entry in the RunOnce section of the registry so that msconfig does not show it as a start up process. The bot is also disguised as a common system process. The application enables several remote features, such as: Screen captures, Webcam captures, Clipboard capturing, Send files from the hard disk over MSN or to a HTTP location, grab files from the Internet via HTTP, start applications, report the WAN and Local IP addresses, Enabling/Disabling of sounds, File and Directory operations (delete, copy, move, rename), Registry operations (editing), Kill processes and Report a process list.
