Sara McKinniss is a young professional living and working in Columbus, Ohio. Though it’s still early in her career path, McKinniss is first and foremost a professional communicator. Throughout college and during her first full-time professional gig, she heavily immersed herself in social media strategy and relationship building. Currently employed with AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals by day, she maintains her continued interest in the fashion industry as a contributing style writer for The Dayton City Paper at night. Prior to her current role, she was an Account Manager at Wilt Public Relations in Springfield, Ohio, where she oversaw accounts in healthcare and human services. While in college, she interned at: Self Magazine – Conde Nast Publications in New York, New York, Avetec in Springfield, Ohio and for the Miami Valley Health Improvement Council in Dayton, Ohio. She earned her B.A. in communication and journalism from Wittenberg University. Her interest in fashion and personal style evolves from exposure to international travel, photography, working with celebrities and visits to renown international art museums. McKinniss is a member of The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, Public Relations Society of America & the Columbus Young Professionals Club. A stickler for early career planning, she has a keen interest in young professional career development and continues to work on building the Young Profashionable brand through blogging and speaking engagements.
