The Tigers have offered professional deals to a quartet of highly rated youngsters who have progressed through the club's Centre of Excellence.
Sonny Bradley, Danny Emerton, Danny East and Conor Townsend have all been offered professional contracts for the 2011/12 season.
Bradley and Emerton were both on the fringes of the first team squad during 2010/11, with Emerton backing up an impressive pre-season with some fine performances for the reserves and Bradley making the bench for the FA Cup game against Wigan and the Championship clash at Scunthorpe. Bradley, a centre back whose deal will run until June 2013, and Emerton, a creative attacking midfielder or striker, recently spent time on loan with Swedish side IK Frej.
East, who predominantly plays on the right side of defence or midfield, was a regular in youth and reserve team football during 2010/11 while the mainly left-sided Townsend can play at full back or on the wing and has caused plenty of problems for opposition defences at reserve and youth team level in the last 12 months.
