[354] “ἔτι εἶχε, ἔτι ϝεῖκε” Brandreth, he had no more any chance. See note on 7.217. “ἔτ᾽ ἔχεν, σακέεσσι” P. Knight and van L. For ἔρχατο see note on 16.481; it would be easy to read “σάκεσσι δὲ ϝέρχατο” if the “ϝ” really belonged to the word.
