Children's programs offer a variety of interactive experiences to discover the natural world. Using music, stories, crafts, and the Zoo's animal collection, your child will strengthen skills needed for success in the classroom and develop important social skills. These programs are designed for children being educated in a non-school setting. They are interactive, in-depth classes that focus on zoology, conservation biology, and environmental issues. Opportunities to meet specialized zoo staff and volunteers are often incorporated into the lessons. more
Want to spice up your resumé or pursue an interest in wildlife? Adult classes at the Zoo provide an in-depth look at animal behavior, conservation, and ecology. The Wildlife Studies Certificate Program offers adults interested in conservation and zoological research the opportunity to take courses relating to issues and science important to wildlife and their habitats. more
