Senior Literary Society at the Fairfield Senior Center, 100 Mona Terrace. First Wednesday of each month from 11am to noon. Join Town Librarian Karen Ronald and Deputy Town Librarian Nancy Coriaty for a lively discussion of fiction and non-fiction books. NAMI Book Group to explore mental health and the brain. Next meeting: Thursday, March 17 at 7pm: An Unquiet Mind by Kay Redfield Jamison.

Knit and Read Club Bring a bag lunch and any handiwork you may be working on. Next meeting: Thursday, March 17 at 12pm: Eating Animals by Jonathan Safran Foer.

Woods Book Group - meets the last Wednesday of the month from 2pm to 3pm at the Branch Library. Next meeting: Wednesday, March 30: The Slave by Isaac Bashevis Singer .

International Authors Book Club - first Wednesday evening of the month at 7:00pm at the Main Library.

Books and Banter - every other month usually meeting at the Branch Library. The next meeting is Thursday, March 24 at 1:30pm: Eating Animals by Jonathan Safran Foer.

For Children

Beyond the Book for parent/caregiver and child (grades 3 and 4). Check the children's calendar for dates and times.

Bookworms is a book discussion group for children ages 8 to 13 at the Main Library.

Mother Daughter Book Group - Good Books We Share The Mother/Daughter Book Group, called Good Books We Share, meets twice during the summer and periodically during the school year. The girls are in third, fourth, and fifth grades.
