Q: Posting Support Questions?

A: Whenever you send us support questions please include your hardware (Processor, Graphics card, amount of RAM) and software (OS) specs. That will help us solve your problems.

Q: Why do i get this message: "There is a problem with the game. Please contact support" ?

A: This should only happen with the Greenhouse version for Mac. We made a mistake in one of the updates which was causing this error. Please redownload the whole game (not only the patch) and replace your version with the new one.
If this doesn't help, or you're running the game on Windows, you're most likely using the cracked version. If you liked it please buy it then, else we wont be able to continue making games.
If you bought it and still get this message, you are probably starting the wrong version. Uninstall the cracked version, then everything should be fine.

Q: Where is the settings folder?

A: WIN Vista: Users/~USER~/AppData/Roaming/Broken Rules/And Yet It Moves/settings
WIN XP: Document and Settings/~USER~/Application Data/Broken Rules/And Yet It Moves/settings
Mac: /Users/~USER~/Library/Application Support/Broken Rules/And Yet It Moves/settings

Q: Where is the console.log file?

A: On Mac you can find it inside the App Bundle: secondary click on And Yet It Moves.app > Show Package Content.
On Windows it's in the base install folder, where you also find the And Yet It Moves.exe file.

Q: No Game Controller Support on Mac?

A: We support controllers on Mac from version 1.0.5. If you have an older version of And Yet It Moves - check by selecting And Yet It Moves(.app) and then press cmd-I - please update to version 1.0.5.

Q: Your question isn't listed here?

A: There will be more, when you start sending us questions

Linux

Q: Why I cant't Alt+Tab in fullscreen mode?

A: Use Alt+Enter to leave fullscreen mode. Then you can. To re-enter fullscreen mode use Alt+Enter again.

Q: Why the game isn't starting?

A: Start AndYetItMoves.sh in console. If you get some pulseaudio related error put the line

drivers=alsa
in /etc/openal/alsoft.conf or /.alsoftrc. Then it should work.
If it does not, or you don't get any pulseaudio related error please provide the output of "/Broken Rules/AndYetItMoves/console.log".

Q: I'm on opensuse, I can't install the game, why?

A: Please install libSDL_Image and openal-soft via yast2 and then install the rpm package. I don't know why, but it does not install the deps automagically like FC13 does.

Q: Ubuntu complains about unresolved dependency "libopenal1".

A: Enable Multiverse/Universe to get libopenal1 into your package list.

Q: What do I need to make the .tar.gz run?

A: The following libraries are needed (as I don't provide them in the tar.gz, it would bloat it up even more, and they should be availiable in every distribution anyways):

libc6, libstdc++6, libgl1-mesa-glx|nvidia-glx|fglrx-glx, libglu1, libx11-6, libogg, libtheora, libvorbis, libopenal, libsdl-image1.2
Please use your package management to install these libraries to make And Yet It Moves work smoothly.
