Roy Maloy starts his 2011 tour of regional Australia

The self described 'father of the 'extreme circus' genre', Roy Maloy, starts his 2011 tour of regional Australia today at Mernda primary school in country Victoria.


This is the lead up to his attempt to snatch his forth world record later this month in Tasmania.

Roy Maloy must walk further than 5km on 91.4cm wooden stilts, each weighing 3.5kg, in under an hour to beat the one hour distance on stilts. This world record is believed to be held by a Russian circus artist.

Roy attempts his fourth world record in Tasmania on June 24 then 'Roy Maloy's Grand National Tour - Ramp it Up' hits the road throughout the eastern states between August and November showcasing his record breaking feats.
