This overview was taken at exactly the right time of day: after sunset, but before the light in the sky went away. The composition is beautiful and having the orange light in the windows of the mansion is a nice touch. I like how the palette of the blue sky almost matches the blue of the top of the tent.
Nice work for the photographer to get up on high as the ceremony was occurring and shoot the scene in the hillside. Encompasses all the attendees, the ceremony and the place.
An unusal telephoto overview. Composed nicely.
I love this picture. Great use of the tent to break the look in half, the blue and the warmth inside are a perfect contrast, and you really know where you are.
You can sense the anticipation of moment as it's about to unfold in this image, yet we are held at bay with the division created by the fence, which lets you ponder what's about to occur — the party is about to begin!
A lovely moment as the bride makes her way down the aisle. Nice to include the ponds from the garden in the background. Truly captures the place of the wedding.
A simple and straight-forward but effective image framed perfectly. It's fun to study what each person is doing and that they are oblivious to the background above them.
Nice use of the stairwell to be the frame for the wedding party and the ceremony. The bride and groom are both positioned on the stairwell, at opposite sides, making a nice frame to watch the person reading the passage.
Simply a lovely, romantic scene as the bride walks down the path. It's nice not to see an overpowering presence of photographer or lens in this image - the setting and dress are enough.
