How it works
The Driver Gauge is a compilation of several different factors from across NASCAR.COM, including driver affinity from a fan's perspective, as well as on-track performance. Each week these factors are compiled based on your participation through the drivers' results, your on-site participation, and Superstore sales.
User Votes
Fans submit their choices for the top five drivers, Nos. 1-5, and those tallies are factored into the overall equation.
Top 5
The top five drivers from the previous week remain in the mix, so the carryover effect remains in play.
Fantasy
Depending on the track, different drivers are more popular. Having a driver on your Fantasy team is a plus.
Favorite Drivers
The men behind the wheel are the sport's driving force. You chose the driver within your NASCAR.COM account.
Site Traffic
In-the-news drivers garner the headlines; reading stories about those drivers push up their popularity.
Store Sales
Fans' affinity for a driver is proven through merchandise sales. The more gear the driver moves, the higher his ranking.
Power Rankings
We rank the drivers based upon on-track performance. This is a key component to determining the best drivers.
