Description
Finally, there's a convenient way to read the Southeast's major newspaper digitally. With this new iPad edition, you can sit back comfortably in your easy chair instead of in front of a computer.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution for iPad offers the completeness and careful selection of that day's newspaper. But it also offers periodic updates of significant news, traffic snarls, weather forecasts and beautiful, crisp photography. The app will have an article on the West Coast sports game that ended too late for print deadlines. So you get the best of both worlds -- newspaper content with updates.
Get on-the-go business news and stay current with our coverage of local and national reports. Star your favorite stories for future reference and share news and photos with colleagues and friends through Twitter, Facebook or email.
The iPad edition carries content that is not available for free on ajc.com, especially full and timely versions of the exclusive, in-depth and investigative reporting for which The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is known.
Ready to experience in-depth news you can touch? Read the AJC in a whole new way. Download the app for your 30-day free trial.
NOTE: The app is free to download and preview during a 30-day free trial, but it requires a subscription to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution app to access content after that. Our other app, AJC Select, is free and was designed for the iPhone. It does not contain the full content and features of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution for iPad.

Worst newspaper app I have ever used
The AJC iPad app is awkward and poorly laid out. Access to news stories is difficult. When compared to other news sites, the AJC site looks as if it was developed by amateurs.
Ajc
I have used the AJC digital edition on my computer for some time now and enjoyed it, but missed being able to flop down on my couch with the Sunday paper. Now thanks to the IPAD and the AJC app I can finally do that again. I use the replica of the full edition (you have to hunt for it a little the first time). It is easy to navigate and satisfying.
Still has bugs
This app started out pretty good, but now has several bugs. The weather is frequently not available, the political cartoon no longer displays, and I often get bounced off. It's a shame because the content is usually worth reading.
