Academy Museum of Motion Pictures
The Academy remains passionate and hopeful about creating a museum that explores and celebrates motion pictures. But the current economic realities have caused us to rethink our plans and timelines. A successful capital campaign is vital to bringing the museum to fruition; that campaign has not launched and no start date for it has yet been determined.
About the Museum Project
With a building designed by renowned French architect Christian de Portzamparc and exhibits created by Gallagher & Associates in collaboration with Academy members and staff historians, the museum is expected to become a Los Angeles area landmark. Find out more about this highly anticipated project
