Academic Programs

Ball State offers 170 bachelor's, 94 master's, 17 doctoral, seven associate, and two specialist degrees in seven academic colleges. Several degrees and certificates are available through online and distance education. About 4,700 degrees are awarded each year. The average class size on campus is 32 students, and the student-to-faculty ratio is 18 to 1.
