Former President Bill Clinton to Speak at W&J on Tuesday
WASHINGTON, PA (March 10, 2008) - With the Pennsylvania Primary just a little more than a month away, former President Bill Clinton will speak at Washington & Jefferson College's Henry Memorial Gymnasium on Tuesday, March 11 at 1:30 p.m. Doors will open at noon.
W&J President Tori Haring-Smith said, "This is an incredible opportunity for our students, one that will give them first-hand insight into the American democratic process and into this election that has and continues to be so competitive and compelling."
Haring-Smith said candidates from all parties are welcome to speak at W&J. In 2004, Vice President Dick Cheney visited the campus during a campaign stop for President George Bush.
