I just re-watched the first three X-Men movies, and there's no denying that without Hugh Jackman that franchise might not have made it past film number one. But now, in this post-X-Men: First Class world of ours, do we even need a Wolverine anymore?

Fox and Jackman sure think so. Toronto radio station CHFI spoke to the clawed one about the Wolvie sequel, and he revealed that an October start date is now set. "We shoot in October, so it will probably come out a year after that. That's usually around the timeline," Jackman said.

James Mangold (3:10 to Yuma, Knight & Day) recently replaced Darren Aronofsky as the director on the project.

What do you guys think? Is there room for more Wolverine adventures now that First Class has kinda/sorta rebooted the series? Comment below!
