TEDxKids@Brussels was themed "Maker Kids." At the event, 48 ten-year-olds participated in special workshop sessions, learning how to solder, tinker, hack and compose.
In an adjacent auditorium, 400 adults experienced a TEDx program of leading thinkers, experts, and makers -- including past TED speaker Gever Tulley. Throughout the day, they received regular updates on the kids' workshops.

TEDxSydney

TEDxSydney held their second big event at CarriageWorks in Sydney, once a factory for railway cars.
Speakers included corporate anthropologist Genevieve Bell, bird behaviorist Josh Cook and biomedical animator Drew Berry. A didjeribone -- a cross between a didjeridoo and a trombone -- performance from musician Tjupurru wowed the crowd.

TEDxTokyo

The focus of the third TEDxTokyo was to explore practical and inventive ways of rebuilding the community after the country's devastating earthquake in March.
Almost 100,000 viewers watched the event -- themed "Enter the Unknown" -- online. Talks were in both English and Japanese.
