The Northern Terminus of NC 125 is at NC 48 in downtown Roanoke Rapids.  There is not an 'END' sign present at the terminus.

The Southern Terminus of NC 125 is about 1/4th of a mile south of US 64 near Williamston.  The terminus is just beyond the entrance to the Senator Bob Martin Eastern Agricultural Center.  NC 125 was extended to this point upon completion of the US 64 freeway.  Secondary highway 1142 continues south beyond this point.
