ABOUT GENERATION JONES

Jonathan Pontell identified the existence
of this lost generation between the
Baby Boomers and Generation X, and
he coined the term "Generation Jones" for it.

Generation Jones is the Largest Adult Generation in the U.S.

  • "I feel like there is a vast national consciousness coming out here this great awakening among the most spontaneous outpourings from audiences that I have ever heard"
Jim Bohannon (#5 U.S. radio talk host on his 3 shows with Jonathan Pontell about Generation Jones)

  • "Jonathan Pontell is right, there is this group
of us that grew up on Twister and The Brady
Bunch, and the Baby Boomers were before
that, and I feel totally disconnected from the
    Gen X crowd"
Rosie O'Donnell (ex-talk show host, comedian)
  • "Wherever Pontell presents his theory on his
internet site, on a constant round of TV and radio
talk shows people in that age bracket tend to
    respond, Yeah"
    The Chicago Sun-Times
  • "Marcia Brady finally has a home. I know now what
    I am a Joneser!"
    Maureen McCormick (actress Marcia Brady)
  • "I feel honored that my song Mr. Jones was part
of the inspiration for the name 'Generation Jones'"
    Adam Duritz
    (lead singer Counting Crows)
  • "I know what Jonathan Pontell means, I identify
with this generation between the Boomers and Xers"
