The U.S. Census Bureau is slowly releasing racial data from the 2010 Census. They are doing this on a state-by-state basis and will not release the national totals until the state totals are all released. Meanwhile, Project RACE will continue to post the 2010 state totals and how the numbers have changed from the 2000 state totals, as we receive them from the Census Bureau.

The results of the 2010 census were released today by the U.S. Census Bureau. The percentage of the total national population that checked two or more races was 2.9 percent, up 32.0 percent from the 2000 census!
