Gene Eulogized

June 27th, 2011

Gene was laid to rest on June 26, 2011. The Colan family decided they would like to make the eulogies delivered at the funeral available for you.

Sure, there are other eulogies, but they talk about comic books Gene drew. These are about the man.

From his daughter.
From his son.
From his grandson.

Gene Colan, RIP

June 24th, 2011

I regret to tell you that Gene passed away on 6/23/2011, around 11pm. Gene had ongoing health issues with his liver, heart and cancer. He was a fighter to the end, making plans on leaving the hospice to return home. He wanted me to price him a VW Beetle.

Meet Oreo

March 28th, 2011

Oreo and his new Thrall

Presenting Gene and his new dog/master, Oreo. 2-3 years old, unknown mixed breed, extremely loving & attentive. We found him at an animal rescue place on Long Island. It took awhile to talk Gene out of a Retriever, or a German Shepherd, or some dog that even as a puppy, would be able to drag Gene by the leash.
