British team wins easily at World Equestrian Festival
Fox-Pitt, King, Stockton and Wilson dominate in Germany

Great Britain's eventers warmed up for their European team title defence in August by claiming victory at the World Equestrian Festival in Germany.

Britain's quartet of William Fox-Pitt, Mary King, Polly Stockton and Nicola Wilson produced a dominant display at the show in Aachen. Fox‑Pitt (Neuf des Coeurs), King (Imperial Cavalier) and Wilson (Opposition Buzz) all went clear inside an optimum time of seven minutes for the cross-country course.

And with Stockton collecting just 1.6 in time faults aboard Westwood Poser, it meant Britain won by more than eight penalties, with New Zealand second and Sweden third.
