As part of the Racing for American Families promotion, Golden Corral will offer a one-day “Kids Eat Free” promotion on Monday, February 21st if Blaney and the No. 36 Golden Corral Chevrolet finish in the top-10 in the Daytona 500 on February 20th.  Details of the offer include:

  • Limit of 2 free kid’s meals per adult buffet purchased.
  • Requires a printed copy of official race results from a newspaper or website.
  • This special promotional offer only redeemable on Monday, February 21, 2011.

“We are fortunate to have a partner in Tommy Baldwin Racing and Dave Blaney and would enjoy treating America’s Kids to a free meal on Monday if Dave has a top-10 finish,” said Ed Gleich, Vice President of Marketing for Golden Corral. “Dave Blaney and Tommy Baldwin know their way around Daytona, and we hope American families join Golden Corral in cheering them on to a top-10 finish. Golden Corral will also donate $10,000 to the Disabled American Veterans organization if the No. 36 finishes in the top-10.”

“The entire TBR team is excited to team up with Golden Corral for their Racing for American Families campaign,” explained team owner Tommy Baldwin. “We appreciate their support of our race team. It wasn’t easy to make the 500, but we are so proud to be racing on Sunday for the fans and their kids to get free meals at Golden Corral.”

Tommy Baldwin Racing will make their third Daytona 500 start in the team’s three years of competition. Blaney is set to start the Great American Race from the 21st row at 1 p.m. ET Sunday, February 20th.

About Tommy Baldwin Racing:

Tommy Baldwin Racing was formed in 2009 by NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Crew Chief Tommy Baldwin. Baldwin utilized a slumping economy to open a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series team for a fraction of the cost. The team competed in two full seasons with multiple drivers behind the wheel of the No. 36 Chevrolet and improved in the standings each year.

Based in Mooresville, N.C., TBR will compete in the full NASCAR Sprint Cup schedule in 2011 with NASCAR veteran Dave Blaney piloting the No. 36 Tommy Baldwin Racing Chevrolet. Looking to improve on-track performance and increase the number of races they complete, TBR is still seeking partners to support their racing efforts. TBR’s driver development program, Heinke-Baldwin Racing, will also compete in various NASCAR series in 2011.
