Ben Saul
Ben Saul is associate professor of the University of Sydney and Co-Director of the Sydney Centre for International Law. His research interests include international law, in particular, international aspects of anti-terrorism law, humanitarian law, human rights law, among others.[1]
Ben Saul publishes articles in various international law journals and is the author of an authoritative book, Defining Terrorism in International Law.[1]
Ben Saul is a member of the International Law Association’s International Committee for the Compensation of Victims of War, President of the Refugee Advice and Casework Service, and Vice-President of the International Law Association (Australian Branch). He was Vice-President of Sydney PEN[disambiguation needed], a board member of Australian Lawyers for Human Rights, and a Member of the NSW Legal Aid Commission’s Human Rights Committee.[1]
