Future Leaders Fellows Program (The Population Institute)
The Future Leaders program allows recent college graduates from around the world to develop interpersonal, organizational, public relations, and writing skills while learning about current problems faced by nations around the world, including the U.S., as a result of overpopulation.
The program is a 1 year, paid, full-time professional development program. Sessions begin in July of each year. Positions include: 1-2 Public Policy Fellows, 1 Media Fellow, 1-2 Field Coordinators,1 World Population Awareness Week Fellow. Requirements: Demonstrated leadership qualities, international experiences and perspectives, good academic record, proficiency in a foreign language and strong communication skills.

Notes: UPDATE: Please note that the fellowship is not being offered for the year 2009-2010, except to Duke students. Check the website to see if it will be offered next year.
Deadline: April 15. Applicants should have completed at least two years of college and must be between the ages of 21-25.
