Alaska Airlines Introduces Boston-Seattle Service With $149 Fares

SEATTLE -- Alaska Airlines is celebrating its new service between Boston and Seattle with introductory fares as low as $149 each way.

The service, which begins April 4, will provide daily non-stop service between the two cities.

The $149 fares are each way, based on roundtrip purchase, for travel on select days. Fares to Seattle are also available on codeshare flights operated by American Airlines. Tickets must be purchased by April 11 and travel completed by August 3.

Alaska Airlines, with its 70-year history of award-winning service, was voted "World's Best Domestic Airline" by readers of Travel+Leisure magazine.

In conjunction with the start of service, members of Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan can earn double miles for travel between Boston and Seattle through June 15. Mileage Plan enrollment is available on-line at alaskaair.com. Members of Alaska's travel partners programs, American Airlines, British Airways, Continental Airlines and Northwest/KLM can earn standard mileage in their programs.

Fares are valid for travel from Monday through Thursday. A seven-day advanced purchase is required, plus either a Friday or Saturday-night stay.

Fares do not include airport passenger-facility charges of up to $18, the federal segment tax of $3.00 per takeoff and landing or the September 11th Security Fee of $2.50 per enplanement, up to $10. All tickets are non-refundable, but may be changed for a $50 change fee, plus any applicable changes in fare. Seats are limited and may not be available on all days or flights. All fares are subject to change without notice, and other restrictions may apply.

Double Miles between Boston and Seattle are valid for Mileage Plan members on flights operated by Alaska Airlines. Flights must be flown by June 15 and credited to Mileage Plan. Other restrictions apply.
