CSC Media does channel swap on VM PDF Print E-mail

CSC Media has swapped Pop with True Entertainment on Virgin Media.

The change took place this morning with children's music and cartoon channel Pop being replaced by True Entertainment, which is available at the bottom of VM's EPG, in slot number 189.

Apart from ITV1's timeshift channel it has been many months since VM last launched a standard definition channel despite the fact that many channels have either been removed from the platform for whatever reason, such as MTV Classic, or, in the case of former VMTV channels, have been closed down by new owners Sky Digital. Therefore, the number of channels available to Virgin Media customers has fallen in recent months and although there are always rumours of new channels doing the rounds, VM seemingly does not have any desire to add any new channels to replace some or all of the channel closures or channel removals. Should any new channels launch on the platform then we will let you know.
