Srinagar, May 23, KONS: An extremist Hindu group has placed a bounty of Rs 20 lakh on the head of leading Indian civil liberties activist, Swami Agnivesh, for speaking in favour of the Kashmir movement and against the Amarnath Yatra.
The Akhil Bharatya Hindu Maha Sabha said that anyone ‘punishing’ Swami Agnivesh for supporting Kashmiris and criticising the Amarnath Yatra would be given a cash reward of Rs 20 lakh.
The group said that the Swami’s remarks in favour of the Kashmir movement amounted to ‘treason.”

Giordano Bruno (1548 – 1600), was an Italian philosopher, mathematician and astronomer. His theories went beyond the belief of
people, he said Sun was essentially a star. He was burned by the civil authorities after the Romans found him guilty of heresy for
his pantheism, which at that time considered heresy illegal. In the 20th century, people realised that he was right.
