Ms. Jackson radiates power of pop music's royal family

Today's Poll Question

POLL: Should Hampton buy the Harbor Square apartment complex?

The City of Hampton is planning to buy the crime-ridden Harbor Square apartment complex for about $14.5 million, with plans to eventually redevelop and improve the complex. Do you think this is a good idea?

  • Great idea. Something needs to be done about that complex. The city can take control of it and get things done.
  • Bad idea. Why on Earth does the city want to spend millions of dollars on a place that's nothing but trouble?
  • I don't know yet. Depends what the city plans to do, when they plan to do it, and what will happen to the current residents who don't cause trouble.
  • Not a bad idea, but the price is too steep. The city could probably get it cheaper.
