Carl Paladino, in a speech to supporters in New York City on 10/10/10:

“We must stop pandering to the pornographers and the perverts who seek to

target our children and destroy their lives…”

EXTREMELY GRAPHIC IMAGES IN THIS POST

Since Carl decided to make an issue of “pornographers and perverts” who are subverting our society and offending his values and Catholic sensibilities, we here at WNYMedia.net thought now would be a great time to revisit the 70-something emails that Carl Paladino sent around to hundreds of his friends, advisors, and associates as well as to leaders in the WNY business community and government officials over the course of several years.

As we noted back in April,

we received a deluge of emails that Carl Paladino had sent to a veritable who’s who of Buffalo-area politicians, media types, hangers-on, hacks, and appointees. Mostly, these are chain emails with a long provenance, including hundreds of email addresses of current and past recipients.

Every one of these was originally sent by or forwarded by Republican gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino. WNYMedia.net has confirmed their authenticity through several sources and different means. They’re real.

Although many of the emails included anti-Obama birther claims, and others were just pictures of naked women, (one of each was sent to Paladino by a current Republican candidate for Volker’s seat in the State Senate).

At the time, we only highlighted the most egregious of the many emails. What we hadn’t really established with clarity is the volume of emails. Here are some more selections from that cache:

“Sensacional Zunga….XXXX” Carl Paladino: “awesome”

So “sensacional” that it was given not a three, but a whopping four-x rating by the email’s progenitor. Carl? He calls it “awesome“.

Russian treasure xx open in private

This one was sent to Carl by a prominent local attorney! The woman in the video is quite acrobatic, and at one point completely wastes perfectly good breast milk.

2 Chicks Turning up the heat – XXX Carl Paladino: “awesome”

Here’s another video that Carl Paladino described as “awesome”. Perhaps this is the proof his campaign needed to establish that he is all for gay people being gay. Nevertheless, based on his speeches in Brooklyn, he doesn’t think that these young ladies’ relationship is a “valid and successful option”. But he’s happy to watch.

“For Andy, this is better”

This appears to be a horrific waste of perfectly good champagne.

I found my retirement job! XXX

Chiquita Bananas XXX … careful

I love how the original emailer added “careful” to the re: line. Warning politicos and industrialists to make sure the door is closed before opening pornography involving a female inserting multiple bananas in her orifices is always prudent.

Squirter

Not having absolutely any idea what’s happening to this poor woman, I can only assume the filename “unknown parameter value” is some sort of acknowledgement of that mystery. Note the absence of a garden hose.

When WNYMedia.net released the first round of shockingly obscene emails from Republican gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino, we never imagined that he might become the eventual nominee. In fact, we had predicted he’d leave the race by June. But one ought never underestimate the politician with deep pockets and loose lips. As he spent his way to a primary victory – defeating establishment favorite Rick Lazio in a landslide – it seemed as if Paladino could do no wrong.

Yet in the last few weeks since the primary, Paladino’s views, values, and platform have been subjected to unprecedented scrutiny by a hungry statewide media. As his campaign began to become beset by gaffe after threat, Paladino began to become something of a joke, and his native Buffalo something of a laughingstock.

When your candidate’s a clown, what does it say about you when the clown wins 93 – 7?

The email revelation has some long legs, and is still brought up about Carl on a daily basis. “Paladino emails” has 895,000 results on Google. “Paladino horse”, about 231,000. ”Carl Paladino emails”, about 2.3 million.

The voters of the state of New York – especially the alleged “values” voters who support Paladino because he purports to share their traditional, orthodox views on sexuality – should be perfectly clear about whom they’re supporting.

In criticizing the very idea of marriage equality, Paladino inserted “pornography” and “perverts” into that discussion. The next day, he went to great lengths to defend his statements before ultimately, uncharacteristically apologizing for them and blaming the media.

As Paladino claims what a friend he is to the gay community, we remind you that he is also neither enemy nor stranger to pornography and perversion.

You cannot claim that gay marriage will cheapen or harm the institution of marriage if you, yourself, have carried on an affair and fathered a child out of wedlock.

You cannot claim that you are opposed to pornography when your email inbox and outbox is so jam-packed with it.

You cannot claim the moral high ground whilst crawling through the gutter.

Because of his hypocrisy, his phony morals, his poor judgment, and his willingness to separate, rather than unite New Yorkers of every color, creed, religion, ethnicity, and sexual identity, we don’t think that Carl Paladino deserves to be the Governor of the State of New York.
