Mohammad Aslam is a student in Kandahar, Afghanistan. Although he is only 16-years old, he already knows that he would like a career in business administration once he completes his education. He hopes to one day work in an office and serve his community. Whenever he is not studying, or helping out around the house, Mohammad loves playing his favourite sport: cricket.
About the School
The Afghan-Canadian Community Center (ACCC) is a post-secondary institution which provides courses in Business Management, Information Technology, English and health care to more than 700 students in Kandahar, Afghanistan. More than half the school’s students are women, who attend at no charge. Proceeds from the Men’s Program are used to fund women’s education programs at the ACCC.
