The U.S. Marijuana Party now has active chapters in five states including:

CO - Wayward Bill
FL - Heidi Drake
IL - Richard Rawlings
KY - Sheree Krider
WY - Charlie Lake

The US Marijuana Party was originally started in 2002 by Loretta Nall specifically to end the war on drugs and legalize cannabis.

The Government regulated Incorporated war on Marijuana and Hemp have destroyed the country we live in by replacing what is a totally natural substance with a host of chemical compounds for our every need. Problem is that the chemicals will kill us, the Marijuana and HEMP will save us.

Politically speaking we are Independents with many socially libertarian positions. But each state contends with its own pertinent demographic problems in a way they feel will best represent their state.

The U.S. Marijuana Party will address any issue concerning Cannabis/Marijuana/Hemp Prohibition, Human Rights and Civil Rights, as we believe in adhering to the "original" Constitutional Rights of all United States Citizens.

We most certainly believe in the REPEAL OF THE PROHIBITION OF MARIJUANA/CANNABIS AND HEMP!

  • ShereeKrider  Support the States' Medical Marijuana Patient Protection Act Federal lawmakers have reintroduced legislation to provide for additional and necessary legal protections for state-authorized medical marijuana patients. House Bill 1983, the States' Medical Marijuana Patient Protection Act, would ensure that medical cannabis patients in states that have approved its use will no longer have to fear arrest or prosecution from federal law enforcement agencies. It states, “No provision of the Controlled Substances Act shall prohibit or otherwise restrict in a State in which marijuana may be prescribed or recommended by a physician for medical use under applicable State law.”

  • ShereeKrider  Hollywood, CA – The campaign to legalize marijuana has been an ongoing one for decades now. Cause celebs like the recently departed Jack Herer, the recently imprisoned Eddie Lepp and the incarcerated Mark Emory are men who sacrificed their lives and livelihood for a vision that now boasts 14 states where legalization is in some shape and form a reality. Agree or disagree with the ritual of partaking in the plant commonly known as marijuana, the argument for legalization is not going away any time soon. Popular shows like ‘Weeds’ on Showtime, songs like Dr. Dre’s new single ‘Kush,’ and even a recent report from the CA NAACP exemplify that cannabis is an accepted part of popular culture.
