Sideshow: Parents OK 'Lost' actor as hubby

Child bride Courtney Stodden, 16, is "a good Christian girl," her mum tells RadarOnline even as lascivious, albeit clothed, photos of the aspiring teen singer hit the Net.

Courtney's parents, Alex and Krista Stodden, are doing the media rounds to promote their daughter's marriage to 51-year-old Lost actor Doug Hutchison, who had been managing the buxom bride's fledgling career.

"We all needed a good man in our lives," Krista tells Fox News' FOX411.com. "You don't look at the age. You look at the love they started to have towards each other."

Adds Krista, Doug is "a great Christian man."

Courtney is ambitious: She has posted a bevy of YouTube clips showcasing her many talents.

There's the music vid, "Don't Put It on Me," described by Gawker as "downmarket Ke$ha as she might look in a low-budget piranha movie."

Courtney even has a self-styled anti-bullying public service ad in which she insists her breasts are real.

Jane Austen, zombie assassin

Zombie-whooping Zombieland babe (and Andrew Garfield's new hon) Emma Stone, 22, has been offered the lead in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Variety says. A costume drama with a difference, it's the Jane Austen classic - as adapted by Seth Grahame-Smith in his '09 bestseller, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: The Classic Regency Romance - Now With Ultraviolent Zombie Mayhem, published by Philly's own Quirk Books. The funny yarn is a mix "between a costume drama, The Matrix . . . [and] Kill Bill," Grahame-Smith told us in '09. It has heroine Elizabeth Bennet express her passion for Mr. Darcy by kicking zombie behind.

She's gone and done it again!

As you read this, Lindsay Lohan, 24, may very well be behind bars. Again. LiLo has been flourishing under house arrest - she's hosted wicked parties and has made $ shooting an ad for Beezid.com. But she's tussling with Old Man Trouble again. The Mean Girls star was due in court Thursday for a hearing to determine if she violated her ('07 DUI-bust-related) probation. TMZ says LiLo tested positive for alcohol following one of her parties. Who but LiLo could mess up a luxurious home sentence?

She won't shirk her civic duty

Sarah Palin's patriotic bus tour - meant to solidify either her position as a Fox News-dominating, memoir-writing, multimillionaire media star or her bid to become America's first monarch - is not over. "The coming weeks are tight because civic duty calls (like most everyone else, even former governors get called up for jury duty)," Bristol Palin's mum says on Facebook (parenthetical and all). "I look forward to doing my part just like every other Alaskan."

Tidbits 'n' pieces

Age, aging - that, says Julianne Moore, is the great equalizer. "The big thing about being 50 is the bar is much lower," the 50-year-old Chloe goddess tells Health mag. "People are like, 'Oh my God, you look great!' So that's sort of good." . . . Teenage pop tyrant Justin Bieber popped up on Today Thursday to plug his new women's perfume, Someday. "I'm more interested in how a female smells than a male," Bieber told Matt Lauer. The kid's barely out of puberty and they have him put his name on fragrance? . . . Lady Gaga was in-country Thursday when a 6.7-magnitude earthquake hit northeastern Japan. Her Ladyship tweeted that she was "fine and unharmed." . . . Robert Pattinson is interested in starring in one of two planned Jeff Buckley biopics, E!Online says. . . . Clawed, hairy superhero Hugh Jackman checked out the Green Lantern stand-up coaster Wednesday night at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, N.J., Six Flags says in a breathless news release.

Alecia Beth Moore 'n' her bairn

Pink has disseminated images of her new baby, Willow Sage, with a pictorial in People.

She says she feared motherhood at first.

"Everyone gives you this terrifying picture of no sleep at all, bickering. They make it sound like waterboarding," the 31-year-old Doylestown native says. "It's not that bad."
