Health Museum to present Star Wars exhibition
The Health Museum in Houston will host “Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination” from June 18 through Sept. 18.
The exhibit, which will be on display in Houston for the first time, explores the futuristic technologies depicted in the Star Wars films, the real science behind them and the research that may someday lead to real-life versions of the technologies seen in the film series.
The exhibit also features props and costumes from all six Star Wars films. Also, visitors can experience a simulated ride in a full-size replica of the Millennium Falcon cockpit.
Tickets for the Star Wars exhibit and general admission to the museum are $10 for museum members, $20 for adult nonmembers, and $18 for children nonmembers and seniors 65 and older. Children age 2 and younger are admitted free of charge.
Admission to The Health Museum excluding the summer exhibit is $8 for adults and $6 for children (age 3 to 11) and seniors (65 and older).
