The Sims 2 Question

An Active Sim?

I have Sims 2 Double Deluxe and University installed. Now, I've been checking almost all the FAQ's for the two games, and I found some conflicts.
A Sims 2 University FAQ says that Active sims lose energy slower than lazy sims. However, another FAQ says the exact opposite. So... what's the truth?

An Active sim loses energy faster than a lazy one.
