ADA Chief recently told a defence blog that , last of the two Limited serial prodcution Tejas aircraft LSP-7 and LSP-8 , will make their first flights by end of this year , LSP-7 will take its first flight by August and LSP-8 by end of this year .

LSP-6 will be exclusively be used for increasing Angle of Attack (AOA) and used for other tests ,which will also include better (Experimental )RAM coating to further reduce its radar signature . while first Naval Prototype (NP-1) will have its first flight in mid of July , just over a year after it was Rolled out last year in a ceremony which was attended by Defence minister A.K.Anthony and Naval and air force chief .

Our sources have also informed that first batch of 20 ordered Tejas MK-1 , will be also ready soon and first flight of Standard production aircraft (SP-1 and SP-2) will be ready by March 2012 and after their first flight will be handed over to Air force , he further informed that LSP-7 and LSP-8 after their initial test flights by the Manufacture (HAL Pilots ) , will be handed over to Indian air force , which will be flown by ASTE Pilots ,before been handed over to No 45 Squadron (Flying Daggers) ,which will be initially be based in Bangalore to sort out any teething problems which might surface in its Regular operations .
