We've been feeling festive at Gratterpalm, despite the sunshine outside, as we've just completed the Pets at Home Christmas Look Book. Distributed to journalists as part of a media tour, the Look Book aims to get the media excited about their new Christmas product range.
Our 'Dreaming of a white Christmas?' theme makes the colourful products lift of the page, and the cute embossed paw prints on the cover give the book a premium feel.
The printed Look Book was also supplemented with an online ebook with easily downloadable images -

Our current creative for #Lakeland can now be seen in store across the country. Using the line 'The pick of Summer' the creative, which runs in the windows and in store, highlights the new exciting products #Lakeland have introduced to make Summer living easy. With fresh, seasonal produce available in abundance, the focus is on home-cooking solutions, with a strong reference to preserving fruits and jam making. We've looked at new ways to highlight customer favourites, exclusive products and value offers throughout the POS and have introduced a new typeface to communicate the benefits of products through handy tips. The creative is in store until the 14th August.
Some opportunities knock. Others kick your door down. We're currently looking to recruit several trainees into our #G-Academy, and Friday 15th is the last day for applications. But - as you'd expect - we're only after certain types of people. You'll be raw, hungry and a confident self-starter. In return, you'll get a month-long training induction across all aspects of life at a full service ad agency. And if that weren't enough, you'll also get a competitive salary and benefits including private health care and profit share opportunities. Wowser. So, if this rare-as-hen's-teeth chance sounds like your thing send your latest CV to by email to Anna Brown at anna.brown@gratterpalm.co.uk. It could be the best move you make in a long time.
We’re creating a buzz around the new natural mixer to hit the drinks market, #Chillax, which kicks off with a 'Naturally Chilled Summer' campaign. #Chillax is all about friends coming together and having a great time and we’re bringing this to life through social media, web and mobile. Throughout the summer we’ll be running a number of competitions and exclusive events to reward our loyal ‘Naturally Chilled’ followers. And we’re creating a ‘Naturally Chilled’ playlist of up and coming talent to create the ultimate summer playlist, which will be available exclusively through Facebook, Spotify and the #Chillax website.
We’ve extended our #digital portfolio of work for #Asda through the creation and development of a brand identity and website for their new #Asda Tech Trade-In service. The site enables customers to send used gadgets, including old mobile phones, cameras, laptops and MP3 players to #Asda in exchange for money, receiving an instant quote online. We created a brand and website that was inherently simplistic in nature so that consumers understand its purpose instantly. The functionality of the site is extremely easy to use for any age group, while being instantly recognisable as an #Asda product.
Our latest integrated campaign is the re-launch of office supplies brand, #Viking, the direct mail and e-commerce channel of Office Depot. Featuring the voice of Chris Evans, the #TV and radio ads present #Viking as an office one-stop shop and runs with the strapline, ‘All the inspiration your office needs.’ As well as the creation of a national #TV and radio campaign, we have also developed the brand online, and an ongoing campaign of interactive display ads, flash games and social media activity. We also up-weighted the campaign in London with a 48-sheet campaign on the Underground.
There are more celebrations today at Gratterpalm as Campaign magazine releases their 'Top 100 Agencies' and 'Top 30 Regional Agencies' rankings. Gratterpalm has topped the regional agencies list, and is placed at number 21 on the UK-wide top 100 list. Campaign describes Gratterpalm as "proof that you can build a great agency business outside London." The billings figure is based on the cost of media space with bands cinema and #digital. The data is compiled by Nielsen.
We are celebrating after Gratterpalm was named one of the '100 Best Companies' in 'The Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work For' #awards. We achieved the highest star rating possible, and were officially named as one of the '3* Extraordinary Companies' as well as being ranked 51 in The Sunday Times prestigious annual review of the UK's 100 top small business employers. Achieving our highest score for team spirit in the survey, Gratterpalm was also praised for our colleague engagement initiatives and wellbeing benefits, with 86% of our people loving working here.
Our new integrated campaign for #Butterkist launches online and in press today. Tangerine Confectionery, manufacturer of the UK's best-selling popcorn brand, briefed us to develop #TV, #digital, consumer and trade press, mailings and point of sale around the line 'You can't resist #Butterkist'. For the interactive social media element of the campaign, we've created an app on #Butterkist's Facebook profile where users can populate a map, detailing whereabouts in the world they eat #Butterkist popcorn to be in with a chance to win a year's supply of #Butterkist. Join in the fun on Facebook here.
It might not feel it outside, but spring has definitely sprung in #Asda Living with our latest creative to support their new season ranges. Our fresh Spring-themed window designs and POS are brightening the mood of Living shoppers, enticing them to refresh their homes and wardrobes. We've used photographic elements of fields, flowers and rabbits, together with wooden freestanding trees and intricate decals to achieve a step change to a more quality look and feel. We love it and we're delighted that our client does too. The campaign is featured in The Grocer this week.
