The Tigers have completed the permanent signing of Cameron Stewart from Manchester United for an undisclosed fee.
Stewart has been on loan at the KC Stadium since November and has been a key figure in City's recent good form, making 11 appearances to date as either a striker or a winger.
Tigers boss Nigel Pearson is pleased the move has become a permanent one, saying: "We are absolutely delighted to have secured Cameron's services on a permanent deal.
"He is a player who has shown plenty of promise during his time here so far and he has a very bright future in the game."
19-year-old Stewart has signed a contract until 2014 and is delighted to now be a permanent member of the City ranks.
"I'm really pleased to join Hull City on a permanent basis," he said.
"My time on loan here has been really enjoyable and I'm delighted to commit my future to this club."
