Indigo Serial RS232 Viewer / Logger

A simple, easy to use software tool that allows serial ( RS232 ) communcation to be logged. Designed as an alternative to Windows Hyperterminal by serial device developers. Cheaper and simpler than most alternatives.

Indigo Serial Viewer allows sent and received items to be looked at in either decimal, hex, ascii or raw binary. Very easy to use. Setting up a COM Port is easy… once it is set up anything that comes in on that port will be displayed in the right panel. Any items sent to the port are displayed in the left. An input box is provided for sending text to the port.

- Access any COM Port on a windows system and send and receive to it.
– Allows configuration of Baud Rate, Stop Bits, Parity Bits, Handshaking, Timeout, RTS and DTR settings.
– Sessions can be saved and loaded.

All the functionality of the basic version, plus:

- Multiple concurrent connections.
– Communcation can be shown in decimal, hex, binary or  ASCII.
– Logging to a file.
- Export to CSV function and so data can be viewed in programs such as Excel.
- Auto sending of user-specified text.
