Sumbitch! I'm A Domestic Terrorist? (or the Scarlet P)

It isn't everyday the United States Government declares that you and almost everyone you know is a domestic terrorist or might be involved in speaking like a domestic terrorist. I don't know when to expect the lords of law enforcement at my door, but it is way too late to pretend that I have not been involved in alleged terrorist activities, because I did publish The Constitutionalist: Rights To Die For.

Now, I suppose I could claim that I had no terrorist intentions, but it is all right there in black and white! I believe in the Constitution and speak quite often about it, sometimes even to other groups. Gasp! Little did I know that I would soon be sewing that symbol, I guess it would be a Scarlet P on my jacket and shirts to let everyone know that I am a Patriot, another heinous Domestic Terrorist term.

Lest you think I jest, take a gander at this newly released bit from the DOJ at Militant Libertarian. And, no, I don't think I will go to the DOJ website and look it up, it might just be that they intend to suck all of the personal information they need about me to effect my arrest from that contact. So, I will huddle down here in my room, behind the false wall and wait silently for that inevitable knock on the wall and the disturbing demands.

I would like to ask all of those men and women of Oathkeepers where they stand on all of this business? Where are the DOJ foot soldiers in this argument? What about local law enforcement, you know the cop down the street? It wasn't long ago I wrote the piece Get Off The Damn Train! Now we know why.

Tip Of The Iceberg

It occurred to me during the Restoring Honor event that it wasn't really about restoring honor. I'm not even sure what that means. Does it mean that WE have lost honor? Because the people I saw around me, in front and behind had lost no honor that I could see. Does it mean that the nation has lost honor? Perhaps some in the nation have; perhaps some political party has walked away from the honorable goal of a free nation and decided to pursue self-annihilation, but that doesn't reflect on the rest, or remove honor from those who refuse to abandon its cause.

I think I know what Beck meant when he called it the Restoring Honor event, but it isn't a clear message and doesn't show how an event would replace something that I know takes years to and years to restore once lost. What the event really was, and it should not be discounted because this is an important point, is that it was a show of force to the White House, who has come to denigrate anything truly American and to take on personalities such as Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh and the likes who stand in opposition and are forces that Barack Obama can't control. (they are not the MSM)

In everything Obama does, you can tell that he expects, perhaps even demands, the MSM go along, to provide cover for his policies. It is an arrogance of privilege often noted here at the Washington Rebel. This president is even more demanding of a sycophantic press because he is the promise they so long had dreamed would come true, a black president. Okay, he's here. Nothing has changed, except the media has removed the mask of impartiality that had been slipping for a long time.

The Restoring Honor event, if taken at face value, was one of looking to God for guidance, for our troops for protection and to ourselves for dedication to the principles that have brought us thus far. I think everyone in the crowd had something in addition to say and it was this: We are proud of being Americans; we are not afraid of the Black Panthers; we are not timid in our beliefs; we are not racists; we are not afraid of the establishment in Washington D.C.; we will face the challenges set before us with courage and honor.

To that end, I think the crowd and Glenn Beck made the point they intended to make. There is less and less an appetite for the race politics that so clearly marked the last fifty years of history. Sure, there are still racists on both sides of the fence, but at this point the argument that anyone disagreeing with a black politician is a racist has pretty much run its course.

I will say that I went to this event because I had heard that the New Black Panther Party was going to be there and were dedicated to disrupting the event. It was important to me to let them know that I was not afraid, and even if afraid, that I would not retreat in the face of that fear. I don't know how many others felt the same way I did, a number I guess, so it was somewhat self-defeating of the NBPP to be so bold.

The thing that has truly changed over the past few years is the American people have blinked themselves awake and realized that there is work to be done. They know now that there is no guarantee of liberty, or adherence to the Constitution, that such things need to be defended. This was just another way in which I wanted to show that I was up for the task, that I took these responsibilities seriously and I think a great many others did the same. What I saw on Saturday was just the tip of the iceberg, many many more Americans will answer the call on November 2nd.

Bloggin From The Belly of the BEAST

I'm sitting in a coffee house plugged into their wi-fi and looking out on K street. This is the land of everything that is wrong and everything that is right about America. You can see it walking down the street, older, well-dressed men accompanied by very nice looking women, (what does that tell you?) black Lincolns with DC plates and little marks on them to let you know they are official,  a lot of impressive looking buildings, not just the monuments either. My little hotel is quite a nice place, if small and a converted mansion. I thought it would be much worse, except the electrical was not designed for today's electronic gadgets.

I will be posting pictures from 8/28 and maybe from tonight's Smittypalooza. IF you ever get over to The Other McCain you have met and enjoyed some of Smitty's work. These are some real class guys, Smitty and Stacy. They probably should have told me to piss off, but they haven't and I really have to credit Stacy for the way Tea Party News looks, he gave me some great advice.

I'll keep you all informed as we go along!

Eight Twenty-Eight: Thoughts About MLK

In my child's mind, I remember 1968, the year when it seemed like everyone was being gunned down: RFK and MLK. A bunch of boys were dying in a jungle somewhere in the world too far for a boy my age to understand, except there was a small place we used to play in called "little Vietnam" which was nothing more than a flooded hole in the ground with a lot of bushes and trees and a raft.

I could tell you I remember it all clearly, but that world was different. There was a sense of isolation that cannot be understood by children who have wires streaming from their ears and there is never a moment of silence, of peace, of solitude. Back then, the sidewalks were filthy, the auto exhaust smelled more acrid and it wasn't hard to tell if a car needed a ring job.

The peace sign was relatively new, back then, and we practiced making the design in the dust on a faded fender. Music like American Pie played in the soundtrack of that time, though the song didn't actually come out until three years later, it is the one song I think of when I think back to then.

I watched the moon landing not much more than a year after 1968 and it all swirls around in my mind as very much the same time. I thought as I watched the grainy black and white television that my grandfather had been alive when the first airplane flew and when man landed on the moon. What a life that must have been.

Also, in my thoughts are images of poor black kids being hosed down by some Southern fire department in order to break up some Civil Rights protest. I always thought that was mean, just mean. And when it comes to the Civil Rights Movement what else could I think of, but Martin Luther King, Jr. He was a Republican, though that means almost nothing, except that in my thoughts it seems right and just. Why wouldn't King be a member of the anti-slavery party?

Everything I have related thus far have been images that stick in my brain from that time, but the only words I hear are those of Martin Luther King, Jr. His words were those of the black kids, my age, so far away and under such different conditions than my own. It didn't occur to me that Democrats were the ones hosing them down, or that it was the KKK that was behind a lot of those hoses. To me, it was just grown ups picking on kids.

Let me tell you the narration that goes with those images and songs, even if they aren't exactly linear. It goes like this. READ IT and come back to this page.

Now, I hope you have read Martin Luther King, Jr.'s speech, because this is what I have to say about it:

I am going to Glenn Beck's 8/28 meeting and I hope that those who value the words of Martin Luther King, Jr will join us, black and white. Stand with us as one people on the anniversary of his speech. Neglect the hatemongers for ONE DAY and stand together with your white brothers, as Martin Luther King, Jr acknowledged those white faces standing in the crowd that day. They were probably Republicans, but you don't have to think about that, pretend they were Democrats.

Don't let the dividers rule this day. This is a grand opportunity to pursue the dream, to bring to fruition the ideals Martin Luther King, Jr., espoused.

The Case For America

In the midst of what seems like throngs of anti-American sentiments over the mosque at Ground Zero and statements from our president, who now says that the 9-11 families should get over it and corporations are trying to take over our "democracy" it seems that America needs a little defending from the moron in chief.

Lost in the negative press America gets from its own press is the fact that America is great. That sounds funny, doesn't it? When was the last time you heard the press or the Democrats suggesting that America is great? As far as they are concerned, American needs to be apologized for. It is a flawed nation awash in racism and hatred. It is an intolerant place. Its Constitution is but a charter of negative rights. As Barry said: "It tells you what the state can't do to you, but it doesn't say what the state can do for you." To which I respond: "Actually, Barry, it tells you what the federal government can't do to you, but that the "state" can do any number of things." Since when did he give a damn about the Constitution anyway?

At a point in time when capitalism and the free market are blamed for the excesses of a few and the arrogance of the government it seems appropriate to set the record straight.

America was the first nation designed by the people to govern themselves, to overcome the idea that society needed a structure of elites, local geniuses who would make sure society ran on a logical path. Even the Magna Carta was between the nobles and the king, not the peasantry. America elevated the peasantry, it did not eliminate poverty, it eliminated systematic, indentured poverty, then reinstituted it under the liberal "programs." Until the concept of welfare and social security poverty was a matter of individual circumstance, but welfare, by eliminating the requirement of work for survival, guaranteed poverty on a grand scale.

When America was free and unfettered from hundreds of federal regulations it fostered the greatest age of invention ever spawned from a nation in its infancy. With barely a century under its belt, America was the incubator of all great technological advancements. And, while most incentives have been removed, restricted, or commandeered by the government, America is still capable of incredible advancements.

America once allowed the consolidation of capital. It was a machine for creating wealth. I heard once that there was no understanding, before America, of the concept of "making money." Prior to America there were only trades and professions and one worked to build a reputation, to become an expert at whatever craft or practice they were to engage in. America, due to its innovative methods of thinking about problems, became the first society to consider "making money" on a level with "making chairs" or "practicing law."

Liberals think that if everything were equal people would be better off, that the egalitarian notion is the same as morality. I differ with that view in almost every aspect of its presentation from conception to display. Troglopundit has a great post on this at Right Wing News. Beyond that, however, there is no way humanly possible for people to remain equal, even if the government comes along to re-level the marketplace every year. Lincoln understood that we were not equal in anything other than our original rights, other than that, we were vastly unequal and so even if wealth is initially equal it cannot remain so.

Materialism is given short shrift without recognizing that materialism builds wealth, the accumulation and consolidation of wealth supports and supplies society with capital to the entrepreneur, who creates jobs and accumulates and consolidates wealth, etc, etc. Ultimately there are tradespeople who develop skills and artisans who practice their talent and they have markets for their pieces. One cannot understand the value of this process without the vantage point of understanding Africa. I won't go into it here, but the failure of Africa is the failure of a system which produces wealth and power into the hands of the individual. Due to the largely paternalistic relationship Europe and America have towards the societies there, there has not been a development of an organic wealth-creating system. Almost all wealth in Africa comes from an association with Europe or America, from UN funds, from Christian organizations. Africa is a receiver continent which, for all the wealth the Western powers have discovered, mined and kept, is still beholden for its survival by the benevolence of the Western peoples.

There is a notion in America that it is an imperialistic nation. That is absurd. Were America inclined toward imperialism the nation would now stretch across South America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. America does not take over nations and occupy them and obliterate their cultures. America infects those cultures with the pattern of success, i.e. it is not a FORCED relationship, it is a coercive relationship perhaps, but the emulation of other nations of America is largely and rationally CHOSEN.

It is irrational for nations to seek methods of societal destruction and the movement in America toward socialism, and ultimately communism is just such a goal and leaves one with a bleak vision of the future, a future populated by gulags and ovens and killing fields. America is not perfect for everything, it is only perfect for most things and for fools to seek to "fix" America by making it a failure like all the rest of the political systems tried throughout history is insane. America is unique as to its political and economic structure. Where it has failed it has failed as a result of drifting from that structure; it fails only where it emulates the failed structures of previous centuries. Were it left to the original design America would be incapable of failing, because it would have up to 50 laboratories and where one might try a thing and fail others would be there to learn and to help restore the failed state to stability and encourage it to follow the successful models all around it. Once centralized, America becomes less capable of survival.

The coming economic disasters in Europe are canaries in the mine for America. Where they are destined to fail, it is because of their social structure and to the degree America has sought to emulate them, to that degree America is likely to fail from it as well.

Humans are not perfect and no nation made up of humans will ever be perfect, but to seek failure from success is a trick of logic only a bunch of liberals could concoct.

Get Off The Damn Train!

If you're like most Americans, hell you don't even know you're on a train and you won't until they pull up to the gulag, or to the oven. Maybe that comparison is too graphic, too exaggerated, but let me ask you: Is prison any better because it has a television? Are you any better off because you can text your preference to American Idol from your Iphone on the long, winding journey to hell?

Society, that great distraction, is like scenery passing by the slats in the cattle-car in which you ride. You watch it pass, admiring the beautiful barns and plentiful fields. You take pride in the glittering skyline in the distance where low clouds hang like wreaths around the upper floors of the skyscrapers. Your world is breathtaking and you are oblivious to the stench in which you wallow.

When the train pulls up to your destination you will regret that you missed your chance to resist, but resistance isn't your thing anyway.

Sure, everyone would like to be the guy who plants the flag on the mountain top, securing victory for their nation. But, that scenario is never presented and it damn sure won't be in this new conflict. The question is not: Will you give your life to secure liberty? It is presented to you as this: Do you want to be thrown from your home, taken away in cuffs to be put in the city jail, or do you want to STFU? The answer to that question, the real question, is too often: "I'll STFU. You are already being asked to defend your freedom, to live up to your obligation as it was given to you by the founders of this nation and you are absent, you are on the train.

They have already taken your freedom, your rights. The Constitution has been mutilated by court rulings and bench amendments to the point where it really means nothing. Listen, when a prenumbraed right, a thing that doesn't even exist except in the shadows of other words, can allow for the killing of unborn children, but the clear, concise wording of the Second Amendment can not be relied upon to secure your right to keep and bear arms, you have been duped. The Congress doesn't even refer to the Constitution when making laws and doesn't much care whether they have the authority or not. Might makes right and they have the might.

You have to realize that you can not be the hero. There are none in this fight, because you are fighting the authorities. When the signatories of the Declaration of Independence made their mark, they had committed crimes and were hunted as criminals. Everything you might do to secure the blessings of liberty to yourself and your posterity will, by definition, be a crime. This is not a game. I don't care what you do to regain your freedom, you can write, you can protest, you can form groups, you can make pledges and promises, but don't look for support from the people on the train. You are a threat to their blissful scenery. To hide from the truth they will call you a racist, a homophobe, a domestic terrorist, a criminal, a tax cheat. They don't care what is true, they just want you to let them sleep.

You have no idea how important this is. Since we have allowed freedom to languish the other nations have seen the blood in the water and they are circling. China is beefing up its military way beyond self-defense (as was the case with Germany in the 30's). Mexico is taking territory on our southern border, gradually and with the complicity of our own government (that would be treason if we were to call a spade a spade). Islam is infiltrating our society from within and making a confusion of our laws and culture (a thing we only suspected of the Japanese).

You only have a blink of the eye to get off the damn train, or to wake up at your destination.

How The New Media Works: Case File: Ground Zero Mosque

We now have a clear cut case file on how the New Media works. That case file is the Ground Zero Mosque. It started with Pamela Geller.

In a short interview, for which I thank her profusely, she let me know that she first became aware of the story when the New York Times ran a profuse and glowing story on it. Pamela, having sense for news and her own outrage wrote about it THAT DAY with this post.

Who is Pamela Geller? Well, first of all, if you are reading this and haven't read Atlas Shrugs I feel sorry for you! Get out more. My blog is nothing compared to hers. In fact I still get a good bit of traffic from a small print listing in her blogroll. She is on the news, in the news, and making news on a daily basis. Lately that news has been concerning the Ground Zero Mosque. She is dynamic and utterly dedicated to exposing the dangers of Islam as it concerns the Western world. This is why I read her blog every day. She is "the source" when it comes to that issue. She thoroughly investigates issues and brings the facts to bear. In other words, I trust her completely to expose the nefarious.

So, when Pamela Geller began to blog about this mosque last December, I kept tabs on it through her blog.

Okay, for those just getting a hang for how this works, i.e. politicians, newspaper reporters, other idiots:

STEP ONE
Some blogger with a dog in the fight (Pamela) follows an issue and exposes the goings on. Other bloggers and relatively bright newspaper reporters keep track of the blog and watch the issue develop. It helps to know the integrity of the blogger, but if the facts can be verified, they can gain integrity by DOING IT RIGHT.

Pamela did it right, she kept everyone informed, brought verifiable facts to the table, enlisted others, used her influence with the media to get booked on shows debating the mosque, even while promoting her book The Post-American Presidency.

STEP TWO
Where possible promote the issue, enlist others to your cause, i.e. 9-11 families, workers, in this case Andrew Sullivan, who is enlisting other builders and contracting firms to refuse to build it if it comes to that.

STEP THREE
Get enough buzz going with blogs and interviews to get some reaction from the public, enough that some questions need to be asked by the liberal media, even one, even if it is meant to belittle some Republican Senator or House member.

(I know more people are involved than this, but I am searching for a good teaching tool and brevity)

STEP FOUR
Make sure that quote gets out, one way or the other, to expose liberal bias, or to bring support to that politician, or to ridicule the politician on the other side of the issue. In this case, after being pressured by the issue largely from Pamela's efforts, the question was answered by Gibbs when he said on August 3rd: "I think the decision is appropriately debated on the local level."  A dodge if I ever heard one.

STEP FIVE
Discover a flash point. In this case it was August 15th when the murder of 10 Christian medical service volunteers was reported in Pakistan. While it might not seem like these two things are connected, it is the level of emotion that finally tips something one way or the other. The killings in Pakistan was a perfect contrast to our own tolerance that had been demonstrated for nine months, and it pushed most of the conservative blogosphere over the edge.

STEP SIX
On August 16th the conservative blogosphere exploded with mosque-related stories to the point that Obama later reluctantly backed off his statement of just the day before. This is how to use the issue as a club in an election year, or to win a political battle of one sort or another. In this case, Obama stepped out, then backed off and it made him look weak and indecisive and like he had his ass handed to him by his own supporters. At some point, most of us are still more American than political operative.

STEP SEVEN
Revel in the astonishing self-destructiveness. Reid opposes Mosque, Obama supports, Gibbs looks like a poodle searching for a place to pee.

GOP, sockpuppet of the LEFT

At what point does this Republican Party figure out that there is a war going on, a shooting war, with the media and that the MSM is not on their side? Get an image in your mind, if you are able, of a Republican politician standing on the beaches of Normandy, petrified, holding his weapon, fearful of going forward, emotionally anchored to the past, oblivious of the present. THAT is the Republican party at this moment in time.

Let me ask you: "How many times does the MSM have to crap all over the GOP for these morons to get it? 20? 30? 973,906,771,213?" Is THAT the magic number? It might be, because they haven't hit it yet. Let me give you a few examples: John McCain and Mitch McConnell. Okay, I hate John McCain for his triangulation and Mitch McConnell is the Senator from my ancient homeland of Kentucky, so I harbor a little bit of ill will toward him for not having a greater backbone.

First of all, does anyone (raise your hands if you will) believe that John McCain is using border security as anything other than an election year ploy? Does anyone really believe that John "Amnesty" McCain gives a rat's ass about the border? He, like so many Democrats, look at that flood of immigrants crossing the border as potential voters and there is no way, once re-elected for a 5th term, is he likely, at 74 years old, to do anything that he says he will do this election year unless it was already a stated view prior to the hard run J.D. Hayworth has given him. No, he wants to wind up his 5th term as Senator, a year when he will be 81 years old (his birthday is 8/29) and ready for retirement.

Mitch McConnell, as the Minority Leader of the Senate, has always been someone I had defaulted to as a representative of mine as a Senator from my ancient homeland and a hard-hitting lawyer. In recent days, however, he has been willing to show his disdain for the Tea Party, an expression, as I see it, as a disdain for the common man. Has he been in the Senate so long that he forgets that average Americans are counting on him to defend our rights, our citizenship in a republic? Or, has he been so eager to further his political future at our expense that he is willing to agree to anything that keeps him in front of the television cameras?

What both of these men misunderstand is that bloggers will keep their most embarassing moments on the screens longer than any news story. That we will, when confronted with betrayal, scream with howls of protest forever bound in the annals of the internet. There is nowhere they can escape, and no amount of PR will erase the actions they have willingly committed in direct contradiction to the people who elected them.

Think about that, Mr. McConnell, when you look at the 53% of voters who paid for your right to address the Senate as Minority Leader, as they may not be there next time. Learn to spell the word: Primary.

You will find both of these men continually hunkering down with the talking heads of the MSM in order to seem reasonable and rational and completely reliable as a vote for whatever the majority of Americans want, regardless of the effect on their constituents. Put up a fight, take it to the Democrats, tell the MSM to piss off, you will do your communication through other means. OTHER MEANS, by the way, is bloggers, PJTV, NRO, and other New Media (say it with me: N-E-W  M-E-D-I-A) outlets just freaking dying to get original quotes and personal interviews with you. Cast off the restraints of liberal media bias and join us on the RIGHT for a change.

I.E., stop being a sockpuppet of the LEFT.

Colorado GOP SNAFU

The Colorado GOP is probably not much different from the brand in other states these days. The Situation is Normal...you know the rest of that acronym. There are pundits everywhere trying to sort out this political season. The trouble is, this is not your average political season.

I will reiterate for the dim-witted Democrats out there who have proven to be too dense to comprehend the nuances of the Tea Party Movement: IT STARTED UNDER BUSH. The Tea Party doesn't trust the GOP and the GOP is wary of the Tea Party Movement. That's why this season is light years removed from others. The repercussions of this election cycle might be felt for decades, perhaps centuries. It is a watershed moment in U.S. history, perhaps world history.

In Colorado, a state now recognized as having one of the most influential Tea Party Movements in the nation, has elected numerous state-level and national-level Tea Party candidates to represent the GOP in the upcoming election. One is Ryan Frazier, a dynamic, well-spoken former city councilman from Aurora, a suburb of Denver. Ryan attended several Tea Party gatherings and Candidate Search events. But, for every Ryan Frazier, there is a Dan Maes.

Dan Maes is NOT what the Colorado GOP wanted in a gubernatorial candidate. He is not a politician, a thing most citizens find attractive in his candidacy. He is not beholden to the machine, at least not yet. He is a businessman, though perhaps not as successful as he had once insinuated. To the great chagrin of the GOP, he won every contest he was in, including the primary on Tuesday. So now they are stuck with him. Except that their misgivings are so great they are trying an "end around" whereby they threaten him, berate him, belittle him until he drops out of the race so they can activate the Vacancy Committee and select another, more official, more electable candidate from their pool of moderate GOP friends and pals.

This is what happens when the Tea Party gets involved and becomes effective as it has in Colorado. This is exactly what the GOP didn't want, they just wanted the Tea Partyists to get behind THEIR candidates. So, when the Tea Party raises up Buck and Maes, there just has to be significant resistance. Now, Buck being a former U.S. Attorney and not totally foreign to the blue bloods of the GOP he has already been making rumblings of going moderate on those who supported him. Maes is just stuck.

The GOP, in making their case against their own candidate, (a thing second in hilarity only to Obama rushing to claim credit for Michael Bennet's victory only to have Bennet deny that he will have Obama campaign for him) is exposing themselves as exactly what they have been backing away from for months. Suddenly, they are not the recalcitrant sinners they claimed to be, they are the same old elitist, good-ole-boy network types they recently criticized.

Candidates like Maes are giving the GOP the opportunity to prove themselves worthy of respect and support in 2012 and they are making a mess of it. Tick Toc Tick Toc, the minutes are running out on this Two Party system and the next one will still be a Two Party system, but they won't be the same two parties as now exist.

Islam Exposes The Cowardice of the Left

Let a Christian minister remind his congregation that homosexuality is a sin and you will have the rainbow brigade on the steps of the church in two seconds flat, but if Islamists execute a homosexual, dead silence. Is it fear? Just outright cowardice that keeps these rainbow warriors from protesting Islam? Yep, out and out cowardice, why there might be a jihad against gays!

Let a redneck beat his wife and you know, it's just the way they are, the scumbags, the pieces of crap! They should be put in jail and refused access to weapons and kept away from their wife and children. And, I'm not saying that is wrong, it just baffles the heck out of me why it is perfectly acceptable (based on the utter deafening silence of NOW) for Muslim men to beat their wives with not only a chorus of crickets from the feminists, but support by them for Diversity!

It is the civility of Christianity that allows these abuses. Fairness, the willing to listen to different points of view, kindness, order, decency, these are all virtues of Christianity, not Islam. Do not expect understanding of your homosexuality, they will execute you. Don't castigate them for beating their wives, they will execute you. Perhaps this is why you do not raise an objection. Perhaps this is why you allow other homosexuals in Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan and other nations to suffer for your cowardice. Inspiring.

Sharia Law? Aw, you know, we ought to be more understanding, more culturally sophisticated and accept that not everyone is the same. Cowards!

What's worse is that all of the work done by these groups to achieve resolutions in our own society is lost when they willingly turn a blind eye to the coming wave of Islamic progressivism and I mean that in a sense of progressing across the globe, progressing into European legal codes, progressing as a culture that dominates and obliterates others.

No, your kindness and complicity will not be taken into account when the Muslim masters rule the globe. The only resistance to this wave has been from European and American institutions, institutions that now tremble at the arrival of Sharia Law. Your silence is akin to suicide for your cause. Your utter fear at criticizing Islam will be the last act of your organizations and your freedoms. And, for all of your demonization of the right, I think I will be too busy defending my own ideals to be of much help to you.

P.S. By the time it gets to you I will already be dead from my resistance to this freaking mob.

The Real Change For A Change

There are rumblings of change, not the hopey change Obama promised, but the real change that comes most often from conflict. Occasionally social upheaval can be accomplished peacefully, but most often it can not. Who are the combatants; what are the sides; what are the issues driving this conflict?

Christian and Robbins broached the idea of a second American Revolution in an article for Investor's Business Daily. This is a serious look at the possibility, not some nutjob Tea Partyist rant. Why would that even be a subject for civilized discussion unless a great majority of the population feel it in their bones, like a coming storm? One reason might be decades of social conflict along with a president incapable of cooling tempers, of demonstrating a calming influence. Instead, he seems to revel in the concept, like a community organizer standing outside the mob he has encited calmly making demands in a reasonable voice. Here, the victim thinks, is a person of deliberation he can discuss the conflict with, who will show him the path to resolution.

CHANGE: Marriage is no longer gender dependent; Sheriff Tony DeMeo has to threaten BLM employees with arrest to keep them from illegally confiscating cattle; Arizona Sheriffs are targeted for assassination; Mexican drug cartels have taken over sections of Arizona and the feds have protected that incursion by placing "keep out" signs for Americans to obey; the New Black Panther Party wields billy clubs in front of polling places and even after being found guilty the government drops the case; SEIU union thugs routinely beat up, threaten and try to intimidate peaceful protesters at the seeming behest of the Democratic Party. WHERE is the president? Golfing, without a word for any of these social issues, except to support the law breakers and civil rights violators.

The sides have been chosen and only a few people on the front lines of the conflict, i.e. Sheriff Arpaio, Sheriff Babeu, Sheriff DeMeo and other Western sheriffs understand the rules. The average citizen doesn't have the power, armory, or authority to make any sort of resistance against the federal government, but it does make one want to move to one of their counties and join the posse.

No one can tell where all of this goes, how this shakes out, but I am on the side of the sheriffs. While I know that sheriffs with their small kingdoms have been the source of oppression at times, see this post by Virgil at Washington Rebel, there are ways to handle it when it gets out of control unlike the federal government which remains aloof, faceless, anonymous in its tyranny.

The lines are being drawn right now. Think about where you stand. Which side are you on? What can you do to support the brave men and women of the Sheriff's Office? Maybe you can discuss with your sheriff the authority being exercised by others and ask them to show support and exert themselves. Do not let these people hang out there in the wind, with all of the weaponry from both sides of the border focused on them.

The real change spreading across America is the idea that we don't have to take it anymore. Conservative blogs and websites are carrying the water for worthy causes, backing up the courageous, exposing the lies of the leftist media, calling attention to the bogus arguments of creeps like Rep. Stark. It is a ragged conglomeration of disparate parts, but all together it is a formidable force for CHANGE.
