Colonel Trott named Walk Like MADD Chairman
Tennessee Highway Patrol Colonel Tracy Trott has been named chairman of the 2012 Nashville Walk Like MADD event to promote awareness of the dangers of driving under the influence. The Nashville Walk Like MADD event is scheduled for Saturday, June 2, 2012 in Bicentennial Mall Park in Nashville.

Mission Statement
Through education, regulation and enforcement the Department of Safety ensures the overall safety and welfare of the public. The Department was established in 1939, and currently encompasses the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Office of Homeland Security and Driver License Services.
