@BrendanIsCool I read you loud and clear, but that doesn't mean that we weren't 200 years ahead. Was it probably much easier for us to pull off for a variety of reasons? oh hell yes. Does it make Ireland inferior? Of course not. I'm just saying that on a timeline, the US came first. For you to say Ireland is first is simply factually wrong.
-
@BrendanIsCool Well actually, most White Americans are of German decent not British, despite common belief.

@recondobeard You didn't read anything I said, did you? Let me give you the sparknotes version. USA-not country, english colony. Ireland- Country with non-english people. USA- colonized short period. Ireland- colonized long time. I hope this helps.

@BrendanIsCool Chronological order dude. 1770s comes before 1920s. And last time I checked, we ditched those shackles waaaay the fuck before anyone else. Many thanks to the Frogs.

This is the Irish version of God Save The Queen

@recondobeard Ireland was colonized for millenia and is a country of people who are celts, not anglo-saxon. The US was a colony of mostly brits. The two are not analogous, Ireland was first to shake away the shackles of brit imperialism.

Greetings from America...Beautiful anthem!
Ireland was the first country to achieve its independence from the United Kingdom....
Soon SCOTLAND will follow.... Then Wales.... And then England can finally be free to be England again. It's the way it should be....
This United Kingdom is long finished !!!!!!!!!
Great national anthem, and nice country.
Greetings from Australia.
