Airprint. Wireless printing right from your iPhone.

Late for a movie? Quickly print your tickets from your iPhone. Putting the finishing touches on a Keynote presentation? Print a draft and give it to a colleague. Or maybe you’re running out the door to catch a flight. A few taps is all it takes to help you get onboard.

Printing on tap.

AirPrint on iPhone makes it simple to print your email, photos, web pages, and documents. There’s no software to download, no drivers to install, and no cables to connect. With just a few taps, you can go from viewing something on the screen to holding a printed copy. And because all the printing takes place in the background, there’s no waiting around. Instead, you can start printing and go right back to flicking through photos, surfing the web, or doing whatever you were doing before.

True wireless printing.

“No cables” means exactly that. AirPrint printing is 100 percent wireless. iPhone automatically locates and connects to AirPrint-enabled printers on your Wi-Fi network. So whether you’re on the other side of the room or the other side of the house, you can print what you need, when you need it.

What you see is what you print.

If you can open it on your iPhone, chances are you can print it with AirPrint. AirPrint works with Safari, Mail, Photos, Maps, Notes, iWork, and PDFs in iBooks. And it works with any third-party apps that have built-in printing capabilities. If you want to print a photo and your printer has a photo paper tray, AirPrint will automatically select photo paper. You can also line up multiple print jobs and manage the queue right in AirPrint.

Works with
