Preparation
- iATKOS S3 Snow Leopard, get from here
- Burn iATKOS S3 image to DVD
Installation
1. Insert iATKOS S3 DVD to your DVDRom and boot from DVD
2. After Installation menu screen appear, following the instructions in your screen.
3. First create partition for iATKOS S3, in Utility menu bar choose “Disk Utility” and create partition from there, name it “iAtkos S3″.
4. Out from disk utility and select destinition with your iAtkos HDD partition (iAtkos S3)
5. Click “Continue” and then “Costumize” and select like this :
6. After choose selections, press “Done” and “Install”
7. Wait about 30-45 Minutes for installation.
8. Done, Now you have Snow Leopard installed in your Computer and enjoy with your mac. 
Update to 10.6.4
update your iATKOS S3 to 10.6.4, following instruction here
Note : i’m on project “The Magic EFI” Boot CD now. wait for release date.

hai,i’m trying to install iatkos s3 v2 on inspiron 1420 here are the spec
core2duo T5500, 2048 mb ram,120 gb hdd(40 gb OsxPartition,40gb win7partition and 40 gb storage)
after several trial with cpus=1 -s and cpus=2 -s command on booting,
i’ve mannage to start installing, but in the middle of install process the laptop suddenly restarting, on another trial it went shutdown in the middle install process,
on other trial, when using verbose mode, an error occure with message disk13 : I/O error preced’ with SAM error.
i try to copy the dvd image, but in the middle of procces it become error,
do you have any idea what went wrong?

i dont know where the problem. but Inspiron 1420 is supported for iATKOS S3.

sudah berhasil instal iatkos s3v2,tpi begitu booting dapet KP sempet install ulang beberapa kali tpi tetep dapet KP.
terakhir coba install dengan customise stndar sesui diatas…

Voodoo HDA jangan dipilih. terus setelah install (booting pertama) ketikan boot flag :
"arch=i386 -x -v" (tanpa tanda kutip)

tapi pas loading… dapet layar hitam dan ngga ada suara.
ada petunjuk ngga untuk itu?

Prosesor pake dual Intel Xeon, motherboard chipset Intel 5400.
Setiap mo install snow leopard selalu KP atau berhenti tiba2 (layar abu2 Shut Down your computer).
Pas dicek pake -v, kebanyakan berhenti di => AppleIntelPII (harusnya kan AppleIntelPIIXATA tapi tiba2 berhenti di PII trus ada kursor gitu)
Udah di coba pake distro hazard 6.6.1, iatkos s3, retail juga sama ga bisa juga. Apa krn ga bisa diinstall snow leopard?
Ini konfigurasi BIOSku :
Kalo di bios, udah di set ke AHCI. trus sata-0 => hdd 500 GB, sata-1=>kosong, sata-2=>DVD-RW.
Mohon petunjuknya mas. Pengen install Snow Leopard, ga mau yang Leopard T_T

Keterangan
Semua hal yang dibutuhkan untuk kategori standard pada laptop berjalan lancar. grafik sesuai (1280×800) bahkan ada opsi untuk pilihan yang lain, suara ok, video berjalan baik via dvd rom atau file di HD, USB berjalan baik; dapat mengenal plug & play, internet lewat modem USB ok, saya menggunakan Nokia dan langsung dapat dikenali tanpa driver Nokia PC Suite, internel lewat bluetooth juga berjalan baik, kirim file lewat bluetooth ok banget, bahkan dapat melakukan browsing isi HP lewat bluetooth.
Airport/ wifi berjalan baik, dapat mengenal network yang ada, namun koneksi HANYA untuk UNSECURE saja –> maksudnya tidak berjalan untuk hotspot yang memakai password.
so Far ok, hanya menunggu .kext yang full version agar dapat menjalankan intel pro 3945 dengan maksimal.

I am completely noob here. but will follow the instructions exactly as specified.
Tried to install iATKOS S3 V2,,, While doing so, power went off and unable to proceed further and UPS back up was nil.
After that when i tried to install the same again
chameleon boot loader loads and i can able to select the hard drive but it restarts as apple logo flashes and goes.
no success even after several attempts to reinstall.
kindly let me know about the issue and what is the exact problem?
what went wrong for this to happen.

when I inserted iatkos s3 cameleon appeared. then I pressed f8 and wrote arch=i386 busratio=29. then everything went good. installed succesfuly. but then it does the same thing. restart when restarts as apple logo flashes. dont know wat else to do help please. thanks.
First boot after installation, type bootflag : arch =i386 busratio = xx -v
* xx = is your busratio.
With – v you can know where the error/stuck. Just remember what error message from your screen.
