Everyone said the original Titanic was unsinkable. We all know how that story ended.
The new Titanic is also supposedly unsinkable. But there are worse things than drowning as Jimmy Armstrong quickly finds out.

Stowing away wasn't one of his better ideas but having to work his passage and put up with spoilt girl Claire is enough to make anyone want to jump overboard...

Jimmy Armstrong stows onboard the new Titanic and meets a friend called Claire, whose father owns the ship. Whilst on the ship, a plaque known as the Red Death starts. Civilisation stops. It's up to Jimmy and Claire to find a cure. This book is an under-rated book and needs a reputation, like Harry Potter and A Series Of Unfortunate Events, which this book is just as good as. It's not at all about the real Titanic, it's not a history book. I recommend this to anyone who likes twists, cliffhangers, and anyone who likes a good read. I'm reading it to my dad at the minute, one chapter at a time, but it's so good he wants me to keep going further each day. Because of this book, I'm reading loads more Colin Bateman books. He is a genius with a very active imagination.

Man made plague released by accident kills most of earth's occupants. This is a good read, interesting from the first page and follows a main character who is very human - flaws included. Really enjoyed this very different book.

The second book is still good but not quite as absorbing as the first. I would still recommend the read though.

I really enjoyed this book, I know it was aimed at children, but it kept me entertained while spending a long journey by train. I really could not put it down.
