'Stakeout' Ranks No. 1 In Box-Office Sales

''Stakeout,'' starring Richard Dreyfuss as a detective who falls in love with a woman he's watching, was No. 1 at the box office last weekend with $4.7 million in receipts.

''No Way Out,'' a thriller starring Kevin Costner, was in second place with $3.8 million worth of tickets sold. ''Dirty Dancing'' was close behind at No. 3 with a $3.61 million gross.

''Fourth Protocol,'' a spy thriller starring Michael Caine and based on Frederick Forsyth's novel, was in fourth place in its debut week with $3.6 million in ticket sales. Another movie making its premiere, ''Hamburger Hill,'' was in the No. 5 slot with $3.3 million.
