Global professional development
The International Baccalaureate® (IB) is committed to supporting the ongoing development of a worldwide professional learning community comprising internationally minded teachers, school leaders and school administrators.
Global PD strives to be a leader in designing professional development products and services for international educators. The Global PD team provides high-quality, innovative products and services to help new, experienced and expert school leaders and educators understand, support, and successfully deliver IB programmes by drawing on the expertise of a network of IB educators worldwide. The ultimate goal of the Global PD team is to improve learning outcomes for students.
Global PD excels at
- providing a variety of pathways for educators to build and expand their professional portfolios as part of their commitment to lifelong learning
- designing, developing and evaluating innovative new products and services including relevant, effective, affordable and accessible face-to-face, online, and onsite workshops and other experiences
- influencing university teacher education programs through the Teacher Award, enabling pre-service and post-graduate experiences that embed the IB philosophy in teacher practice

Develop a category 3 workshop
Currently, we are not accepting proposals for new category 3 workshops. We look forward to receiving proposals between September and December 2012.
